Institutions and the Register

Institutions NOT listed on the Higher Education Institution Register

In developing the Register, DHERST has commenced with information that it has on its Departmental records together with relevant information that it has received from institutions. To be listed on the Register, a higher education institution must be recognized with academic programs accredited by the National Higher, Technical and Education Board (NHTEB) and registered by DHERST. If an institution is not on the Register, the institution is required to contact DHERST.

If an institution is eligible to be registered as a Higher Education Institution, a date for quality review of that institution will be set. DHERST will contact the institution to discuss the institution’s eligibility for registration (if applicable), the details and the requirements of the quality review.

Institutions Listed on the Higher Education Institution Register

All institutions are required to review the information held on the Register. DHERST will contact the institution if further information is required.
