To apply online, you will need to access the National Online Application and these steps.

  1. An invitation letter - This letter is generated from the nomination list which details grade 12 students in all registered schools. Non-school leavers can obtain the invitation letter from their matriculation center, or contact the DHERST NOAS Support team to obtain this letter. The invitation letter is issued to each student by the school principal and or a nominated senior teacher of the school. The confidentiality of invitation letters must be maintained by the school and the student-applicant.

  1. Laptop or Smart Device - Applicants must have access to a personal computer, laptop or a smart device such as a tablet, android phone, or iPhone. 2. Connection to Internet - The personal computer, laptop or smart device being used should also be connected to the internet.
